The in vitro study provides evidence that the combination of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate has more activity in protecting, reversing damage and promoting repair in joint cartilage than glucosamine or chondroitin sulfate alone.

The SLACK Incorporated Market Research Survey in February 2006 of orthopedic surgeons and rheumatologists, relating to glucosamine/chondroitin sulfate brands has again shown CosaminDS to be the No.1 recommended brand.
